January Mini-LAN is Coming Up
December's Mini-LAN had a great showing and we're hoping to carry that into our next event. We'll be doing another Mini-LAN on January 31st at the regular time of 4:00pm to 12:00 noon on February 1st. It's a crapshoot as to whether we'll see any good new games released between now and then, but Halo's PC port was a blast so some older games will likely be played again.
On a special note, this will be one of our last Mini-LANs at the 119 Valley St. facility. DMA's lease is finished in early Spring and so we (obviously) cannot use the building for our Mini-LANs anymore. The staff has been looking into alternative locations if the demand is great enough, but for now all we can say is that we'll miss the place, as it's been good to us.
We hope to see you at the end of January. The sign-up sheet is clear so let us know if you plan to show up. See you there!

December '08 Mini-LAN
This December's Mini-LAN will be going ahead as scheduled for 4:00pm on the 27th to 12:00pm on the 28th. We're safely nestled between Christmas and New Year's so schedule conflicts should be minimal. Left 4 Dead had a great showing at the November event so it's sure to see more gameplay, as will Call of Duty: World at War and (hopefully) Grand Theft Auto 4.
Registration is open now so sign up if you plan on attending. Until then have a safe and joyous holiday season.

Sign Ups Open for the November Mini-LAN
While we were discussing the possibility of a November 1st event, the ultimate decision ended up being that there wouldn't be enough interest so we're going ahead with our regularly scheduled November 29th Mini-LAN. Hours will be the same (4:00pm Saturday the 29th to 12:00pm Sunday the 30th) and there will finally be some attractive PC games to play, including:
Call of Duty: World at War Grand Theft Auto 4 Saints Row 2 Need for Speed: Undercover (if EA actually includes LAN play) etc...
The sign up list is now open so make plans to come and show off all your Black Friday wares. See you there!
There's been some miscommunication or just lack of communication whatsoever regarding this month's Mini-LAN. I'm certainly at least partially responsible, but we're determined to work things out and still host a Mini-LAN, be in tomorrow (the 25th) or next Saturday, November 1st. The latest information I have on the topic can be found IN THE FORUMS. Again, apologies for the confusion and we hope you still fit the event into your schedule. Thanks.
UPDATE: We will be having the Mini-LAN at the schedule time (4:00pm Saturday to 12:00pm Sunday) on the 25th tomorrow. We have found someone to join the DMA to fill that requirement. Since this is so last minute I personally still plan on investigating the possibility of a November 1st LAN to give people an extra week to plan for it. When that is determined in either case I will post another frontpage update. See you tomorrow!
Repeated attempts to reach Chow-Yun-Fat have been unsuccessful. Since this month's Mini-LAN is scheduled for this Saturday October 25th and 26th, I'll have to say I don't think there will be one this weekend. That is, unless someone will step up to be host on the forum.
Next Month's Mini-LAN is scheduled for November 29th and 30th, immediately following Thanksgiving. So if you are headed home for the holiday and would like a chance to get away from family and leftovers, keep us in mind.
Apologies all around for the delay in the update on the front page here. The September Mini-LAN will be going on from 4:00pm Saturday the 27th to 12:00pm Sunday the 28th. With the power outages and loss of internet this message has been a long time coming, so again we apologize for the short notice. The sign up sheet is ready to go so let us know if you're coming. The August Mini-LAN will be on Saturday the 30th, starting at the usual 4:00pm and going until noon on Sunday the 31st. Sign-up is now available so let us know if you're planning to attend. Same drill for location, setup, etc. Hope to see you there!
